Job Description

We are seeking a Field Technician (Printers and PC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in server administration, technical security management, performance management, and cross-technology incident resolution and a proven ability to design and deliver complex support solutions, lead cross-team initiatives, and serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers.

Responsibilities:

• Apply advanced technical knowledge to operate one or more critical or high-risk technology areas or customer groups.
• Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for customers.
• Resolve single- and cross-technology incidents independently and collaborate to resolve unusually complex issues.
• Proactively and reactively implement measures to prevent problems in the team or technology area.
• Apply HP solutions to meet highly complex customer needs and identify add-on services to drive revenue growth.
• Provide technical consulting during contract renewal discussions and manage customer expectations during escalations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships up to senior management level in assigned accounts.
• Design and deliver support solutions using specific industry knowledge and assist in managing delivery of industry support solutions.
• Lead cross-team or large programs and projects; coach and guide junior consultants.
• Provide suggestions for operational efficiencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Expert-level knowledge across core technical competencies such as server administration, security, and performance management.
• Thorough knowledge of HP products and services, third-party products, competition, and market trends.
• Strong consulting skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and align solutions to business objectives.
• Advanced problem-solving skills including proactive, reactive, and creative approaches.
• Effective communication with diplomacy up to senior management levels; strong active listening skills with audience-aware messaging.
• Intermediate skills in project management, analysis, communication, and presentation.
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree in a technical field with 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience leading large programs or cross-functional initiatives.
• Background in customer escalation management and contract renewal consulting.
