Job Description
We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join our team in Andover MA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inventory control operations, cycle counting, reconciliation, and material handling and a proven ability to resolve complex inventory variances, optimize material flow, and complete assignments independently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day inventory control support to manufacturing and distribution areas.
- Plan and perform cycle count scheduling and coordinate physical inventories.
- Research, analyze, and reconcile inventory variances and discrepancies.
- Use inventory control systems and reporting tools to manage material flow and maintain records of quantity, cost, and material type.
- Requisition required supplies and verify materials received, identifying physical and financial variances.
- Inspect incoming articles and reject defective items in accordance with procedures.
- Prepare accurate inventory records and reports and investigate stock count variances.
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments, applying advanced judgment and initiative.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control practices, systems, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root-cause analysis and reconcile complex variances.
- Proficient communication and documentation skills for reporting and cross-functional coordination.
- 5-10 years of relevant inventory control or materials management experience.
- Forklift operation capability.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments with cycle counting programs.
- Familiarity with HPE site operations or similar enterprise environments.
Work Conditions & Details:
- Work on site required. Client interface not required.
- Overtime may be required. First shift.
- English language proficiency needed.
