Pay Range: $58.00/HR - $61.00/HR

Job Description
Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Kanban Flow Master to join our team. This role involves coaching and advising teams and leadership on Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices, helping teams become self-organizing and cross-functional. The Scrum Master / Kanban Flow Master will facilitate Agile events, remove impediments, and resolve issues that are outside of the team's control. This position plays a key role in planning and executing the development and delivery of software products to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Coaching: Guide teams and leadership on Scrum/Kanban/SAFe processes, procedures, and values. Promote continuous improvement and Agile transformation strategies.

Team Facilitation: Enable teams to achieve their Sprint goals by facilitating Scrum/Kanban events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve impediments, ensuring the team can focus on their work without unnecessary interruptions.

Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to prioritize backlog items, refine epics/stories/tasks, and ensure deliverables meet business needs.

Project Management: Manage the development and implementation of the Cúram/Java web-based software application, interfacing with various internal and external systems.

Agile Transformation: Execute and follow Agile transformation strategies, working as a team player to foster an Agile culture that drives customer and business value.

Data Management: Manage and analyze data to derive meaningful insights, monitor sprint progress, and provide timely status updates using tools like JIRA and JIRA Align.

Required:

Agile Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience implementing Agile values, principles, and practices, including Kanban and Scrum.

Tools Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Backlog Management: Experience in working with stakeholders to prioritize and groom backlog items and understanding of epics/stories/tasks.

Project Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading multiple priorities/projects simultaneously without compromising quality.

Facilitation & Communication: Excellent facilitation and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Risk Management: Strong experience using risk and business impact analysis to inform decision-making.

Certifications: Certified Scrum Master or Kanban certification.

Preferred:

SAFe Certification: Certified SPC or SAFe Agilist in SAFe transformation.

DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of DevOps practices.

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in software development (Java, .Net/C#) and SQL in relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server.

JIRA Align: Experience with JIRA Align and Portfolio Planning.
