Position Title: Care Management Support Coordinator II (Remote)Locations: Remote
Anticipated Start Date: 06/16
Expected Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Contract with possible extension
Shift: Daily shifts (with potential overtime): Opener 8 AM-5 PM, Mid 10 AM-7 PM, Closer 11 AM-8 PM EST.
Pay Rate $22hr. on W2
Need: Required: Peer-to-peer scheduling, 1+ year call center & medical insurance experience, strong customer service & communication skills; Preferred: Trucare and call handling system experience.

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Peer-to-Peer Scheduling Support Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our administrative care management processes by managing high call volumes, coordinating peer-to-peer schedules with internal medical providers, and ensuring timely authorization approvals for requested member services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a background in medical insurance and call center environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform outreach and respond to inbound calls to facilitate peer-to-peer scheduling with medical directors and clinical nursing staff.
- Serve as a key point of contact for members, providers, and internal teams to resolve scheduling and authorization-related issues.
- Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while managing a live call queue.
- Maintain and update member records in compliance with current state and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership through various communication channels (Teams, email, chat).
- Work in a fast-paced, highly structured environment with clear processes and metrics.

Qualifications
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

- 1+ year of call center experience
- 1+ year of medical insurance experience

- 1+ year of call center experience
- Preferred:
- Experience with Trucare and call handling systems

- Lack of a quiet workspace or inadequate internet quality
- Limited experience in customer service or healthcare
