Position Title: Web Developer

Pay Range: $55 to $60

Title: Web Developer

Responsibilities:

• Looking for Developer Experience contract position which entitles reshaping our samples including coding, content writing and defining the onboarding experience to MSAL libraries. This role should enable us to build a holistic experience for developers integrating with MSAL libraries.
• Utilize technical expertise to enhance MSAL library sample space, develop new samples, and align with Auth SDK patterns for seamless onboarding.
• Collect documentation and technical requirements for a single SDK and scale it up to multiple SDKs.
• Verify the samples, upgrade the framework dependencies to the latest, build automation and test integration with existing pipelines for easy maintenance.
• Solicit and review feedback from the Auth library SDK developers, product team and external consumers to iterate meaningfully.
• Expected to do a mix of technical writing for tutorials, sample code development.
• Plan, track, and report on your work, reprioritizing and escalating issues as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of content development processes and tools.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of Web development experience
• Strong Typescript/JavaScript development experience with Angular and React frameworks.
• Familiarity with Python and .Net development.
• Experience working with Git, GitHub as a content management system, and Markdown.
• Experience working with geo-distributed software development teams.

Preferred:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, technical communications, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience gathering documentation requirements and prioritizing multiple deliverables.
• Proven technical documentation leadership, organization, and planning skills, including track record of delivering great results under tight deadlines.
• Experience with Mobile - Android/iOS a plus

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 8+ overall years of experience in the field - however, Sponsor is flexible contingent on the candidates true understanding of the skills listed below for hard skills.
• Degrees or certifications PREFERRED: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, technical communications, or a related field is PREFERRED, or equivalent industry experience is great too.
• Disqualifiers: N/A
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain someone who can catch on quickly. Very flexible in years of experience as there is more of a focus of how good they are at Java Script. Wants someone hands-on and able to take a jab at something and change it and figure out things quickly - in other words, performance tuning experience.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on content development (which is to be measurable - example: is sample simple to look at? Is the product team able to get sample the way they envisioned it?) and performance tuning and efficiency.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

JS (JavaScript), Typescript, Angular, React, Node.js [familiarity] (5+ YOE)

Familiarity with Python and .Net development.(5+ YOE)

Experience working with Git, GitHub as a content management system, and Markdown (5+ YOE)
