Job Description
We are seeking an Assembler and Test Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical assembly and testing, and a proven ability to diagnose and rework units to meet defined test requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems.
- Use electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, and cleaning devices to complete builds.
- Read and interpret drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and related documentation to perform work accurately.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and rework units that do not meet test requirements.
- Support repair activities that run concurrently with production units.
- Operate hydraulic stands to perform assembly functions and set up AMPS and 151 stages.
- Execute defined testing procedures to verify conformance.
- Contribute to a teamwork environment through productivity, initiative, cooperation, accurate data collection, and a constructive attitude.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience assembling hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Proficiency with electrical and mechanical measuring instruments and common assembly tools.
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, worksheets, and parts lists.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for units failing test.
- Experience operating hydraulic stands and performing setups such as AMPS and 151 stages.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and documentation practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with production repair workflows alongside active builds.
- Background in data collection for quality and test reporting.
