Job Description

We are seeking a Engineer II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full lifecycle development, CI/CD, and cloud-native infrastructure and a proven ability to deliver scalable services, automate deployments, and ensure reliable operations. AMEX experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and/or Python.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins and Octopus Deploy.
• Configure, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters using operators and HELM charts.
• Administer Linux servers and write shell scripts for automation.
• Integrate and maintain DevOps tooling including GitHub, SonarQube, and Octopus Deploy.
• Collaborate using Slack, Confluence, and Jira to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure, unit testing, and capability expansion across services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on software development with Java and/or Python. NodeJS or Go is a plus.
• Linux server administration and shell scripting proficiency.
• Experience using and administering Octopus Deploy and Jenkins.
• Kubernetes setup and operations using operators and HELM charts.
• Source control and code quality with GitHub and SonarQube.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack, Confluence, and Jira.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Clear communication skills and an aptitude for learning new technology.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with public cloud environments.
• Prior client project experience.
