Gameplay Software Engineer IIBCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Remote Gameplay Software Engineer II in the United States. Position Title: Gameplay Software Engineer II
Location: US - Remote
Anticipated Start Date: ASAPPlease note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCForward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 12 Months Job Type: [>%3D40 weeks] [Contract] [Remote]. Pay Range: $55 - $65/hr. on W2.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Title: Gameplay Software Engineer II
Duration: 12 months
Location: US - Remote
Minimum Qualifications hiring manager is looking for the candidate who has
- Optimize various systems for best performance across platforms.
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- 3-5 years game development experience.
- Shipped at least one game/title on either mobile, VR, PC, or console
- Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, typescript, or Lua
- Ability to work independently with minimal outside supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible - able to adapt plans and react to change in a diverse, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
- A habit of writing super-clean, encapsulated, testable, and well documented code.
Must-Have Skills:
- Game development lifecycle experience.
- Experience in creating worlds.
- C#, JavaScript, typescript, or Lua.
- Should know how to build blocks on fortnight.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in horizon worlds.
- Working knowledge of 3D math.
- Experience with game engines - either Unity, Unreal, Roblox Studio, or Godot.
