Job Description

We are seeking an Automation Technician to join our dynamic team on the 1st shift schedule of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated and semi-automated manufacturing and test equipment and a proven ability to execute preventive maintenance, support validations and calibrations, and drive equipment reliability improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on automated and semi-automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing production and test equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble machinery and document work per quality system requirements.
• Support new equipment and process projects, including validations and calibrations.
• Monitor equipment performance for maintenance and improvement opportunities and update PM schedules.
• Elevate safety, equipment, and product issues to meet production goals and compliance standards.
• Provide technical guidance, share best practices, and assist in training new employees.
• Communicate and collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing production or test equipment.
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with ability to learn new mechanical processes and instruct team members.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, equipment safety, and quality documentation.
• Effective communication and organizational skills with a focus on reliability and uptime.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting equipment qualifications, validations, and calibrations in regulated environments.
• Background with diagnostics or medical device manufacturing equipment.
