Operation Business Analyst
Position Title: Operation Business Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 8 months
Job Type: FULL TIME, CONTRACT, HYBRID schedule 3 days in office /2 days remote
Pay Range: $35-40.36/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due the factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description
- Main point of contact for AMRS based Clients for settlement of daily margin calls for F&O and OTC Cleared positions. Candidate must be on hand to offer premium Client service and deal with all Client queries and manage the relationships between our Clients and internal company's departments. Up to date market knowledge on key initiatives and developments within the clearing and settlement space are essential. Directly interacting with Clients on a daily basis, you will be the main point of contact for clients asset transfer settlements and status updates, along with inquiries on anything Collateral related.
- Ensuring all Client Margin Calls covered on a daily basis.
- Dealing with Client Trade & settlement queries on daily basis.
- Investigation and resolve of any margin call discrepancies.
- Identify and escalate fails in a timely and accurate manner to Credit/Risk Management, Collateral Risk Management and Operations Management.
- Requesting / Booking of FX transactions for all client base.
- Dealing with collateral bookings & releases, Pledged & Lodged.
- Responding to client inquiries, and when needed, coordinate with the appropriate Front/Middle Office as well as the core processing area in order to facilitate resolution.
- Developing a complete understanding of Bank policies and departmental controls and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly numerate with analytical problem-solving ability with proven track record of delivering results.
- Self-starter, well organized, ability to solve problems and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent at engaging with global peers to ensure best practice is adopted at all times.
- Thorough understanding of the collateral governance and control environment.
- Confident in facing off to senior stakeholders across the business (including Sales, Trading, Product Control, Credit and Legal).
- Attention to detail, delivering high quality output.
- Willingness to quickly develop the role via IT and process re-engineering to improve control, automation and levels of sophistication Strong controls background with previous experience of implementing and maintaining key business controls.
