Primary Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated MFT Migration Specialist to join our fast-paced information technology team. The role involves migrating and supporting Client Managed File Transfer (MFT) processes from a Messageway system to an IBM Sterling system with a PCM user interface. You will manage assigned workloads, lead client conversations to establish necessary migration changes, and coordinate scheduled migrations with clients and Sedgwick colleagues.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of the MFT migration team to transition processes from Message way to Sterling System (PCM UI).
• Manage assigned workloads for process migrations and update centralized tracking tools to provide daily status reports. Strong multitasking ability is crucial.
• Understand source migration processes, including connection credentials (ID/Password, SSH Key, Known Host Keys) and GPG encryption keys.
• Set up and validate migration processes within the IBM Sterling MFT system.
• Work closely with clients and Sedgwick colleagues to resolve issues, make corrections, and coordinate/manage migrations.
• Liaise with vendor support for any technical issues within the Sterling system.
• Research and resolve complex technical problems or data discrepancies reported by clients.
• Act as client support by addressing technical and non-technical queries from internal and external customers.
• Review and maintain/update documentation as necessary.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Support the organization's security policies.

Education & Licensing

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Specific Experience

• Experience with IBM Sterling B2Bi/PCM and/or other Managed File Transfer systems (e.g., Messageway).
• Familiarity with Linux Servers, SFTP Server, Unix scripting, and maintaining scheduled services preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

• Required experience with IBM Sterling B2Bi/PCM.
• Preferred experience with Progress Messageway.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment to complete assigned tasks.
• Navigational knowledge of Linux preferred.
• Experience with UNIX SFTP and FTP servers preferred.
• Familiarity with working out of a ticket queue with defined SLAs.
• Knowledge of file encryption software (PGP & GPG).
• Ability to thrive in a high-change environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to produce comprehensive, accurate, and constructive written reports.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team environment, particularly with Project Managers.
• Strong commitment to meet or exceed performance competencies.
