Job Description

We are seeking an Ops Specialist Trade Processing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in securities trade processing, cash management, and reconciliations, and a proven ability to ensure accurate and timely accounting entries, resolve trade breaks, and manage daily cash flows.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all trades, including straight-through and manual, are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
• Reconcile trades between order management systems and trade processing systems.
• Review trade issue reports and research price deviations with appropriate parties until resolution.
• Manage daily cash flow trading with investment companies, including trade confirmation oversight.
• Coordinate cash raises for fund expense payments such as management fees.
• Coordinate reallocation events to align portfolios with target allocations.
• Develop and deliver cash projections to clients and internal stakeholders using available data sources.
• Validate systemic feeds and manual adjustments to support timely and accurate cash projection reporting.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external partners to ensure proper trade entry and minimize risk.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration within the Trade Processing group.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated PC proficiency and ability to work with trade and accounting systems.
• Strong problem identification, escalation, and resolution skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and operate under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with securities trade processing, order management, and reconciliation tools.
• Familiarity with 529 plan administration and fund accounting workflows.
