BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst Remote opportunity.

Pay Range: $.42/hr to $44/hr on W2

Summary:
The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.

Job Responsibilities:
* Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
* Performs complex gap analyses across regulatory or other requirements in technical domains such as AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and cloud
* Gathers requirements from internal stakeholders and translates those into analysis, reports, and dashboards to help produce data driven contributions for our business
* Track and analyze policy-, industry-, and regulatory-related issues
* Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
* Supports one or more highly complex business processes
* Works on multiple projects as a project team member

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
* 2-4 years' experience required
* Basic knowledge of programming languages to comprehend reading code and basic functions
* Ability to build simple relational databases, some knowledge of SQL server, Python scripting
* Knowledge of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Azure Data Studio etc.)
* Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
* Project management skills to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
* Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
* Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience or a background in audit, certification, and conformity assessment
* Experience performing complex gap analyses across regulatory or other requirements in technical domains
* Experience with international standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, 27701, 9001, 42001, NIST 800-53, etc.
* Knowledge of/familiarity with domains such as AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and privacy

Candidate Requirements:
* Years of Experience Required: 2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
* Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in technical field is required to be eligible for this role.
* Disqualifiers: Candidates should have a data science background. Looking for someone with a regulatory and policy background as well.
* Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain the following:

* Familiarity or experience with regulatory affairs and regulatory frameworks (tech or vertical industries related to tech such as healthcare, automotive, etc.)
* Experience performing complex gap analyses across regulatory or other requirements in technical domains
* Experience with international standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, 27701, 9001, 42001, NIST 800-53, etc.
* Knowledge of/familiarity with domains such as AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and privacy
* Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and quality of work.

1. Minimum 2-4 years' experience with Ability to build simple relational databases, some knowledge of SQL server, Python scripting
