BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Event Manager for an opportunity in South San Francisco, CA 94080!

Pay Range: [$35] - [$40]Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Requirements:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality, event management, or a customer-focused role
- Experience working in a corporate or enterprise environment with employee-focused programs
- Serve as a single point of contact for internal event hosts, guiding them through event planning logistics and available resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AV, Facilities, and Security, to coordinate event setup and execution.
- Perform administrative tasks including preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and managing event logistics workflows.
- Partner with AV teams to interpret client requirements and ensure successful technical execution.
- Develop and distribute visual planning tools such as room diagrams, photos, and facility layouts to support event coordination.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for each event, including timelines, stakeholder notes, and service requirements.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all stakeholders, fostering a service-oriented environment.
- Recommend and coordinate enhancements with third-party vendors (e.g., florists, musicians, branding consultants) to elevate event quality.
- Outstanding Communication: Ability to represent the brand with clarity and professionalism in both written and verbal formats.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Proven history of delivering exceptional customer experiences that align with brand values and engagement goals.
- Project Management: Strong planning, multitasking, and organizational skills; thrives in dynamic, high-volume environments.
- Collaborative Team Player: Flexible, service-driven, and highly dependable in team settings.
- Analytical Thinking: Adept at problem-solving and decision-making with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality, event management, or a customer-focused role
- Experience working in a corporate or enterprise environment with employee-focused programs
- Proficient in managing service ticket workflows and help desk platforms
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to learn and apply internal policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and event planning guidelines
