Position Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Location: Buffalo, NY

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 7 months contract

Job Type: Part time 16 hours - 24 hours

Salary Range: $20ph - $21/ph

Job Description:

Shipping/Receiving Clerk position will be supporting our plant operations. Duties include receiving and transferring mail and other shipments (tools, equipment, vendor deliveries), disposal of materials, and general customer service for our site. Accountability: Must have a strong safety awareness and focus all of the time. Manage age of inventory by completing disposal/donation as indicated on work list. Support shipping needs of our internal and external customers, organize and complete shipping/receiving paperwork. Maintain inventory and an organized environment.

Qualifications:

2-3 years experience in shipping and/or receiving materials. They will be trained on a pallet jack but not forklift. Ability to work independently. Strong customer service skills, team player, ability to build relationships. Highly organized self-starter with demonstrated initiative and flexibility. Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and exercise sound judgment and discretion. Excellent attention to detail.
