Position Title: Lab Assistant

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268

Anticipated Start Date: 02/24/2025

Expected Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Pay Range: [$20/hr] - [$22/hr]

Job Description:

Perform analytical studies including GLP certifications of various types of materials in support of registration and production of active ingredients and formulated crop protection products.
* Ensure that all data are being generated and documented in a manner consistent with GLP regulations, SOPs, best practices, and study protocols.
* Processing and interpretation of analytical data, as well as ensuring high quality work. Troubleshoot and implement analytical solutions for experimental challenges as needed to ensure study requirements are met.
* Support daily operations of the analytical laboratories by maintaining the instrumentation and lab areas.
* Work closely with the Product Chemistry Laboratory Team and Product Chemistry Subject Matter Experts to efficiently perform experiments and communicate results to stakeholders according to required timelines.

Required Qualifications:
* A minimum of a bachelors degree is required.
* A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree discipline in Chemistry or a related science is preferred.
* Two years relevant work experience with analytical chemistry techniques - Recent Grads with only school lab experience are okay, too.
* Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and customer focused environment.
* Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate urgent projects.
* Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholders and peers.
* Demonstration of the value of environmental health and safety.

Shift: 8-5pm
