Job Description

We are seeking a QA Analyst III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and executing test plans, test automation, and defect management and a proven ability to identify root causes of software issues and drive resolution across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation and release.
• Develop testing programs that address database impacts, software scenarios, and usability.
• Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report issues to developers.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screens, or content.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track outcomes to closure.
• Create and maintain databases of known test defects and test results.
• Plan test schedules and strategies aligned to project scope and delivery dates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency with QA methodologies, test planning, and execution, including defect tracking tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and provide basic mentoring and constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software concepts and development practices.
• Familiarity with design techniques and tools used in technical documentation and planning.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and the practical application of technology in testing contexts.
• Experience with development or scripting languages such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux shell, or JavaScript.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience building and maintaining test automation suites.
• Prior work in Agile or Scrum environments with CI/CD practices.
