BCForward is currently looking for highly motivated Maintenance Technician Facilities located at Princeton, IL 61356.

Position Title: Maintenance Technician Facilities
Location: Princeton, IL 61356
Expected Duration: 6+ months.
Estimated Start Date: 5/13/2024.
Pay Rate: $21/hr

If the plant moves to shifts- shift differentials will be added to hourly rate:
* Shift 2: shift start time at noon%3D $0.50/hr
* Shift 3: shift start time at 6pm%3D $0.75/hr

Schedule: Currently Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm; during harvest and/or packaging, the plant will move to a 24/5 schedule and this position must be available for rotating shifts. Those schedules will be determined when closer to the seasons.

What Youll Do:
* Support Plant Operations.
* Maintain Condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools
* Support Process Safety Management and location safety efforts.
* Conduct seasonal prep work including Annual Preventative Maintenance, Repairs, and Improvements.
* Assure proper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities.
* Complete grounds and facility maintenance as needed.
* Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes.
* Work with vendors and contractors to safely and effectively complete work.
* Other duties as assigned.

What Skills You Need:
* High school diploma or GED
* 1+ years of relevant work experience in a maintenance dept
* Willing and able to work in a variety of areas (field, plant, warehouse)
* Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated areas, standing and sitting for extended periods
* Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions
* Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting
* Willingness and ability to work shiftwork and overtime hours including weekend work required during seasonal peaks
