BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer (Tester) Job for a Remote opportunity in United States Location!

Position Title: Quality Engineer (Tester)

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: March

Expected Duration: 6+ months (with possibility of extension or conversion)

Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Onsite

Pay Range: $60/hr. - $67.85/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you will be responsible for test script executions, identifying and logging defects and collaborating with developers for bugs resolution. You would be required to create test data and coordination with boundary partners for testing/defects review. Expected to build Knowledge and support the team. Must possess the following-
* Attention to Detail
* Strong Problem-Solving Skills
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
* Good understanding of the software development process
* Ability to create and execute comprehensive test plans
* Knowledge about document preparation, databases, test preparation, Linux commands, testing procedures, automation tools and issue tracking
* Analytical reasoning
