Position Title: Application Architect

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months.

Job Type: CONTRACT, (Hybrid)

Monday- Friday (5x8)

A candidate who is authorized to work independently

Pay Range: $65-$70/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

ROLE SUMMARY

Description:

Responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Primary contributor to the creation of infrastructure tools and their integration as an infrastructure service. Facilitates deployment of technical solution by developing templates, playbooks and automation to be used during implementation. Infrastructure Engineer II consistently looks for opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency when implementing and maintaining infrastructure tools and/or services. This engineer embraces the culture that drives innovation and continuous improvement.

• Degree in computers or information technology
• Must have at least 8 years of expert level solution design experience comprising one or more infrastructure areas like Unix, Windows, Middleware, Database
• Must have experience in system/database/middleware administration, design support in a large-scale environment - preferably in a financial services industry
• Must have good understanding of overall infrastructure domain including complete network and application development stack
• Be familiar with the implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of applications hosted on Windows Unix platforms
• Good knowledge of ESX/VMWare/vSAN and other virtualization technologies/platforms
• Understanding of Enterprise automation orchestration tools like Ansible
• Prior Bank of America experience
• DEVOPS experience
