Expected Duration: 10+ months contract (with possible extension)

Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Hybrid Position (3 days onsite)

Pay Range: $61/Hr - $66.17/Hr on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

Must-have skills for this role are Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
The required experience levels are Java - 8+ years, Spring Boot - 5+ years, Microservices - 5+ years.

The client is a company that provides financial services and solutions to consumers, small businesses, and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional, and government clients.

Responsibilities:

• As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
• You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• You are expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Spring Boot is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Java is recommended.
• Advanced proficiency in Custom Application Development and intermediate proficiency in Microservices Architecture are suggested.
• Design and implement innovative software solutions that meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and performance.
• Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies to enhance development processes.
• Mentor junior team members to foster a culture of learning and growth.
