BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst for a remote opportunity!

Position Title: Data Analyst

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: 05/27

Expected Duration: 6+ months contract + renewable

Job Type: [FULL TIME (>%3D30 HRS WEEKLY) [CONTRACT], [REMOTE]

Pay Range: $34-$38/hr only on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:

• Top skills Power BI, very strong with visual presentations
• Experience with analytical tools supporting data analysis and reporting (Tableau, MS Power BI, PowerApp, Power Automate and Microsoft's Infopath and SharePoint Online tools).
• Extensive experience using SQL. Ability to effectively work with internal teams across numerous functions and Ievels.
• Ability to quickly Iearn complex business processes and understand the underlying transactional systems.
• Expert in MS Excel, SQL and MS PowerBI for advanced data analysis and visualization.
• Familiarity with Quickbase and statistical analysis methodologies is a plus.
• Years of experience required for this position: 2-3 years.
• Education: Four-year undergraduate degree in computer science/software related major preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop/Support MS PowerBI based reports.
• Execute data queries across multiple data sources (Excel and/or Data Bases) in support of business intelligence reporting needs.
• Format query results into PowerBI graphics.
• Design, develop, and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analysis and dashboards, identifying KPIs to drive key business decisions.
• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
• Able to analyze complex data and communicate the resulting insights with clarity.
• Apply expertise in statistical inference, data mining, and visual presentation of data to help inform and support our business and product decisions Develop models, reports and dashboards and monitor the validity of the data across various data stores.
• Maintain and organize shared documents and schedules for business operations organization.
