Program Manager IIBC forward is currently seeking an initiative to take Program Manager II (Sustainability + Supplier Engagement) for Remote Location. Position Title: Program Manager II (Sustainability + Supplier Engagement)Location: RemoteAnticipated Start Date: 10/18/2024Please note this is the target date and it is subject to change. BC forward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Possibility of getting an extension)Job Type: ContractPay Range: $55 to Max $65/HR W2 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Summary:
- Analyze supplier GHG data, targets, roadmaps and solutions for trends, projections and decision-making
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. procurement teams and supplier managers) to deliver timely projects
- Scale the impact of suppliers and internal initiatives to accelerate value chain GHG emissions reduction
- Partner with cross functional teams to support the development and execution of new and existing GHG reduction initiatives
- Effectively communicate program progress internally
- Support development and implementation of net zero activities in sourcing and engineering processes

- Ability to travel (10%)
Qualifications
- Have an undergraduate degree in business, supply chain, environmental science, or related field 3+ years of experience in procurement or operations at a large-scale enterprise.
- Expertise in contract negotiations, supplier management, and roadmap development Proven analytical experience to manage complex data, advanced Excel and data analytics proficiency.
- Project management skills with demonstrated experience to self-manage complex delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Proven experience to diplomatically resolve issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. Sustainability, Procurement Teams, Business teams, Engineering) and managing relationships with complex stakeholders
- Familiarity with global and sectoral sustainability initiatives.
- Understanding of Client's products and services.
- Proven communication skills.
- Supplier engagement, great Communication skills, Managing suppliers
- Negotiations with suppliers, Program management and organizational skills, Case management
- Understanding what contracts are, procurement, Contract updates
