BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Tableau - Advanced opportunity in Jersey City, NJ.

Position Title: Tableau - Advanced
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Pay Rate Range: $71/hr W2 - $75/hr W2
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Job Description:
Expert in Tableau and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources
working on projects across client
Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset
May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks
Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill
Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security
Stays abreast of cutting edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles

Skills:
* 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting platforms, with a strong focus on Tableau, Qlik and IBM Cognos.
* Proven expertise in developing interactive and dynamic dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
* Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and working experience in relational and dimensional modelling is required.
* Technical depth and ability to rapidly understand and communicate the impact of solutions and technology.
* Experience collaborating with business representatives to understand requirements, value, prioritization and business intelligence needs.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, with a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.
* Experience working in onshore/offshore model.
* Any experience reporting on Databricks platforms is a plus.
