Position Title: Facilities Mechanical Technician - III

Job Type: Contract and Onsite

Pay Range: $50.00 - $52.00/hr.

Job Description

• Shift time: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday
• No interview required - will be extended.

  Job description:

• Operates complex equipment and analytical tools, processes, state of the art 12'' silicon wafers in a clean room environment, which requires appropriate gowning. Technicians are gowned in a gore suit that covers them from head to toe as they perform their work duties. Multi-tasked responsibilities may include minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing and problem-solving. Primary job duties are to perform a - Variety of routine operations supporting wafer fabrication in a specific functional area. Position requires working efficiently from standard procedures and specifications. Technicians work 12 hour shifts and spend most of their time standing to perform the work. Some, if not all, tasks performed require repetitive motion to an extent.
• Manufacturing Technicians operate complex equipment and analytical tools in an ESD environment. Multi-tasked responsibilities include non-standard processing and problem-solving, as well as actual processing of state-of-the-art devices. Primary job duties are to maximize output using constraint management Techniques while sustaining process, equipment issues, training and cross training cluster members while building a self-sustaining cluster team.

  Requirements:

• AA degree in a technical field including mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering.
• Prefer at least 1 year of work experience in Semiconductor cleanroom. 3 years exp in manufacturing or production
• Basic Computer Systems competency: Computer Literacy, MS word, excel, PPT, Email.
• Skills: Good problem-solving ability is a must. Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities. Candidate must be flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations and attention to detail is must.
