Salary Range: $20ph - $23/ph

Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Groundskeeper to help maintain and enhance the appearance, safety, and function of two commercial properties in Golden Valley, MN. This hands-on role requires a strong working knowledge of landscape maintenance, seasonal property care, and grounds-related equipment operation. If you're passionate about keeping outdoor spaces in top shape and can work independently through all four seasons, we want to hear from you. This is a 1 year contract position.

What You'll Do

Maintain exterior grounds across two local campuses

Operate landscape equipment (mowers, blowers, sweepers, plows, etc.)

Care for and maintain a variety of plants and landscaped areas

Ensure safety of all property areas including sidewalks, parking lots, ramps, and roadways

Perform seasonal duties such as spring/fall cleanup and snow removal (early mornings and weekends required during winter)

What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal experience

- OR -

Recent graduate with a degree in Horticulture

Preferred Qualifications:

Horticulture degree with hands-on groundskeeping experience

Familiarity with irrigation systems and infrastructure

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate large equipment safely

Additional Requirements

Valid driver's license in good standing (DOT-rated vehicle and trailer operation; no CDL required)

Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs and be on your feet for 4-6 hours/day

Willingness to work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow)

Availability for up to 10+ hours/week of overtime during seasonal transitions

Excellent communication skills with internal staff and vendors

Self-starter with a high attention to detail and pride in maintaining safe, beautiful spaces
