Position Title : Oracle Developer

Location: Addison, TX/Charlotte, NC

Job Type: 40 hours work week
Pay Rate: $65/hr to $70/hr

Position Summary

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Required Skills
* 10+ years professional experience developing solutions in Oracle Plsql and Hadoop
* 5-10 years of experience in Unix environment and Shell scripting
* Strong experience in working with Audit/Regulatory teams.
* Experience with Oracle database and query performance optimizations
* Experience with data warehousing and OLTP solutions
* Strong in PL/SQL, stored procedures
* Experience with Oracle 19c
* Strong experience in scheduling tools like Autosys.
* Ability to implement Technical code delivery to higher environments by adhering to Agile Application lifecycle management, Continuous integration/delivery tools including Ansible and release management standards
* Experience and desire to work in an Agile process (pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.) & Framework (Scrum/Kanban)
* Demonstrable knowledge of problem domain in which they have been working
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work comfortably as a team player
* Senior level Hadoop Developer with Unix and SQL expertise
* Mid to senior level Hadoop Developer for Complaints Development project. - (Development / Testing). -Specific Initiative changes
* Hive & Impala Querying
* Working knowledge on Spark Data warehousing background
* Hadoop
* SQL
* Unix
* Bachelors Degree in job related field required

Desired skills/experience
* Experience with domain driven design
* Distributed systems experience
* Relevant industry (Compliance, Entity/Transaction Scanning, Anti-money Laundering etc.) experience
* Experience with Python technologies
* Experience with JIRA
