Position Title: Operations Specialist

Job Type: FULL TIME, CONTRACT, Hybrid -- 3 onsite days (Tu, Wed, Thurs), WFH (Mon, Fri)

Pay Range: $22.28/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due the factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Shift:
- Training will be onsite 5 days/week for 1-1.5 months, then switch to hybrid

Requirements:

• College degree preferred
• Knowledge of Alternative Investments
• 1-3 years prior operations experience

Job Description

• The Alternative Trading and Operations team is a part of Wealth Management Operations.
• The Alternative Investments Trading and Operations Team is responsible for transactional exception processing for Alternative Investments (Hedge Funds, Managed Futures, Private Equity, Exchange Funds and Precious Metals), review, approval, execution of subscription, redemption, dividend, Registration and Transfer orders.
• The AI Trading and Operations Analyst is responsible for the accurate execution and supervision of client trades and fund level reporting for Hedge and Private Equity Funds.
• The team also reviews Client documents for subscriptions, tenders, transfers and reregistration's.
• In addition, the adherence to fund schedules and attention to detail are a team focus.
• Processing includes back-office order entry, trade correction processing, trade execution, fund level reporting, document review, break resolutions and instruction of fund level money movements.
• Each team member is also responsible for performing peer quality checks/verification.

• Highly self-motivated
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate information to a wide variety of personnel in a clear, concise, and well-organized manner
• Ability to multitask and work under tight time constraint
• Strong Excel skills
• 1-3 years prior operations experience
