Job SummaryThe Sample Coordinator will support the Stability (Shelf-Life Testing) function within the Integrated Operations Consumer Experience Team. Under the direction of the Lab Lead, this role is responsible for handling stability samples, coordinating sample movement, labeling, inventory, and documentation to ensure accurate testing and timely delivery of results. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced lab environment while maintaining safety and confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute stability sample movement between chambers, prep labs, and staging areas
- Perform daily sample pulls and maintain accurate sample inventory records
- Package and ship stability samples as required
- Monitor and document stability chamber temperatures
- Use LIMS software to print labels, enter data, and support documentation needs
- Deliver reliable and high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain Medallion firewall compliance and confidentiality for external projects
- Support cross-functional laboratory activities and project needs
- Follow all safety protocols and lead with safety in daily tasks
- Perform additional laboratory and sample-handling tasks as assigned
- High School Diploma with 3+ years of related experience OR Associate Degree (2-year degree)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with direction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and use new software applications
- Comfortable working in stability chambers (hot, cold, humid environments)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks
- Flexibility to adjust schedule occasionally as needed
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn LIMS or similar systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related scientific field
- Prior laboratory, food industry, or stability testing experience
