Schedule Planner I - Material Planning and ControlBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Schedule Planner I - Material Planning and Control in Waterloo, IA
Title: Schedule Planner I - Material Planning and ControlLocation: Waterloo, IA 50703Duration: 3 years Shift Hours: 7 AM to 3:30 PM with possible overtime
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Contract (40 hrs. a week)
Pay Range: $23hr-$25/hr
(Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description Plans and schedules simple (fewer capacity constraints, fewer work centers, fewer process, lower change over complexity) manufacturing processes of all current production and service parts. Schedules requirements for material with regard to the Production System including kanbans/triggers, delivery and achievement of the production schedule. May develop line sequencing of options. May provide work direction. Duties: Schedules production parts. Schedules service parts. Expedites production and purchased parts. Coordinates needed parts from other departments. Coordinates and communicates the implementation of engineering and material changes. Assists the production department in manpower planning. Performs general administrative duties as needed to meet administrative support needs. Assists in coordinating the department's inventory integrity and accuracy, including production and scrap reporting. Qualifications:

- Education: 4-year degree in any business-related field.
- Experience:
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel).
- Open to recent graduates, though preference will be given to candidates with 3-5 years of work history post-graduation.
- Professional experience dealing with all types of workforce (union workers, managers, leadership, etc)
- No gaps in employment history.
- Work Location: This position will spend 50% of the time working on the shop floor.
