Position Title: Program Manager I

Anticipated Start Date: 5/1/2024.

Expected Duration: 12+ Months Contract.

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $55 to Max $60/HR W2

Summary

Summary:

• The main function of a Compliance Program Manager (PM) for Accessories is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project.
• This role will function as part of a team embedded in the product development of Reality Labs accessories, gathering and communications requirements while tracking important program milestones.
• Compliance PM is expected to have a good understanding of consumer electronics, analytical testing, demonstrated experience in program management and has worked in a collaborative cross functional, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
• Clear and effective communication of HW Compliance goals and findings with cross functional team and leadership.
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production, and cross-functional teams to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend or approve compliance plans.
• Direct, review and approve product designs and changes that impact compliance.
• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of consumer electronics products.
• Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Google Suite, etc.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working in the consumer electronics industry.
