Position Title: IT Software Development Specialist Sr

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: Jun 24

Expected Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Pay Range: $51.07/hr on W2

MANAGER'S NOTES:

.Net, C#, JQuery, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, Angular, JSON, API, Microservice, OAuth, Certificate Based Authentication

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To develop, maintain, test, and debug software applications in a Windows client/server environment using development platforms such as .Net, C#, SQL Server, and others. This role involves defining system scope, creating detailed specifications, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining moderately complex systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Become familiar with application features including reports, parameters, claims management, intake services, and interfaces.
• Analyze user needs; assist in designing technical specifications.
• Develop and modify software based on specifications.
• Maintain software to meet regulatory and carrier requirements.
• Test and debug assigned software projects.
• Prepare documentation for new and existing software.
• Investigate and resolve issues escalated by support staff.
• Mentor and assist other programming team members.
• Follow departmental design and development standards.
• Deliver and maintain high-quality customer service.
• Stay updated with advancements in development languages and technologies.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform other assigned duties.
• Support organizational quality initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Licensing:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• Major in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum six (6) years of experience in relevant language development or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven background in interpreting user requirements and designing business applications.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of software development languages and design
• Analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Effective negotiation and team collaboration abilities
• Consistent achievement of performance metrics and goals
