Job Description

We are seeking an AI Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AI product enablement, workflow tooling, and cross-functional delivery, and a proven ability to lead end-to-end product execution, scale AI adoption, and deliver measurable outcomes across multiple initiatives.

Team Purpose and Scope

This team owns and drives AI initiatives across the organization through three pillars: enablement (adoption through tools, partnerships, and education), product (AI-powered experiences such as recommendations, search, and discovery), and workflows (internal AI tools that improve efficiency and support teams). The role supports scaling coverage across all pillars, including partnership liaison responsibilities and hands-on contribution to internal AI solutions.

Typical Day in the Role

  • Coordinate and track projects across enablement, product, and workflow pillars.
  • Act as liaison for strategic partnerships, coordinating with cross-functional teams to advance AI-driven add-ons and solutions.
  • Schedule and facilitate AI education and adoption sessions, and support teams adopting AI tools.
  • Assist with internal workflow and tooling projects, including logistics and contribution to prototyping.

Top 3 must have hard skills:

1. AI-Assisted Development & Tooling (1-2+ years)

Strong hands-on experience with modern developer tools and workflows, including AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot. Ability to apply these tools in real-world scenarios, prototype solutions, and translate capabilities into improved developer and creator workflows.

2. Software Development / Scripting (3-5+ years)

Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python) with the ability to understand and contribute to development workflows. Experience with APIs, automation, or game/modding environments (such as Minecraft add-ons) is highly valuable.

3. Cross-Functional Technical Program Coordination (4-6+ years)

Experience working across engineering, design, product, and legal stakeholders to drive alignment and execution. Ability to manage ambiguity, coordinate initiatives (such as XTM v-teams), and drive clarity-especially in areas involving emerging technologies or policy considerations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, track, and manage budgets, project plans, timelines, and scope across multiple AI initiatives.
  • Manage project resources, including staffing, motivation, coaching, and advising.
  • Partner with functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into actionable roadmaps.
  • Lead development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Define test plans and ensure products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing and develop rollout plans and procedures.
  • Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses and performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are followed.
  • Make presentations to steering committees and project sponsors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven project management experience with software and AI-driven initiatives.
  • Hands-on, current usage of modern AI tools and workflows, with ability to assess capabilities and limitations.
  • People management and team-building skills with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and risk assessment skills in dynamic environments.
  • Experience delivering technology solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field. MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP or PMI certification.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Candidate Requirements

* Disqualifiers: Candidates who claim AI knowledge but lack depth or up-to-date understanding when probed further on current tools and practices. Limited or no hands-on experience with modern, state-of-the-art AI usage (i.e., not actively using or experimenting with current tools). An unbalanced view of AI capabilities-either overestimating what AI can do or not understanding its real limitations.

* Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain hands-on, up-to-date experience with AI tools-particularly evidence of building or leveraging advanced AI workflows (e.g., agentic or multi-step systems)-along with side projects that demonstrate curiosity, experimentation, and a strong passion for applying AI in practical scenarios.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AI productization for recommendations, search, or discovery experiences.
  • Background in building or orchestrating multi-step or agentic AI workflows.

Candidate Profile Guidance

  • Demonstrated depth with current AI tools and practices, including side projects that show experimentation and practical application.
  • Balanced understanding of AI capabilities and limitations.
