Position Title: System Administrator/Technical Support
Location: Raleigh, NC 27609
Shift Timing: Mon Friday 40.00 Hours Per Week
Anticipated start date: 1-2 Weeks
Duration: 5+ Months contract with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $40.00 - $44 on W2
Job Description:
We are seeking a mid-level contractor for a System Administrator role to provide EEM support. The ideal candidate will offer excellent customer service skills, demonstrate proficiency in Windows OS and M365, and work effectively with internal teams. This is an onsite position, requiring hands-on support for hardware and software installations, troubleshooting, and various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support with strong communication skills, effectively engaging both technical and non-technical customers.
- Utilize moderate knowledge of Windows OS and M365 to assist customers and collaborate with internal teams.
- Image and provision new hardware equipment for customers.
- Track onboarding and shipping activities, ensuring timely fulfillment based on customer requests.
- Follow asset management processes to ensure proper billing for customer services.
- Document work activities in ServiceNow for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Test Intune processes for Tier 3 teams and provide relevant feedback.
- Assist with software testing and upgrades, ensuring they meet internal security protocols.
- Install software according to security and internal procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Provide clear instructions while troubleshooting issues remotely for customers.
- Assist in developing team processes and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Work with vendors on warranty-related cases.
- Collaborate with internal teams on technical issues and solutions.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience providing customer support with strong communication skills, able to assist both technical and non-technical customers.
- 3+ years of experience working with Windows OS & M365, supporting customers and collaborating with internal teams.
- 3+ years of experience imaging or provisioning new equipment and providing it to customers.
- 3+ years of experience with tracking onboarding and shipping activities based on customer requests.
- 3+ years of experience following asset management processes for customer billing.
- 3+ years of experience documenting work activities in ServiceNow.
- 3+ years of experience testing Intune processes and providing feedback.
- 3+ years of experience installing software following internal security processes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving customer issues.
- Ability to provide instruction during remote troubleshooting sessions.
- Basic understanding of MECM, Active Directory, Tanium, Intune, and Beyond Trust.
- 2+ years of experience working with vendors on warranty cases.
- Willingness to work on special projects as needed.
