Job Description

We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile delivery, cross-functional team leadership, and impediment removal and a proven ability to facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies, manage risks and issues, and deliver on sprint commitments aligned to business strategy.

Important Screening Questions:

• What would you say are the 2 most important Scrum ceremonies and why? Manager requires the answer to be Retrospectives and Sprint Reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Work autonomously and demonstrate solid leadership competencies.
• Organize and lead cross-functional team members toward common outcomes and execution.
• Facilitate Scrum events with emphasis on Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to analyze and resolve complex issues.
• Drive sprint planning and execution, ensuring tracking and reporting of daily activities.
• Meet project budget, schedule, scope, and risk targets.
• Communicate sprint future-state vision and business impact to stakeholders.
• Coach team members by recognizing strengths and developmental needs, and encourage open feedback.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize risks and issues, performing impact analysis.
• Remove impediments to enable delivery of negotiated sprint work and report status and impacts effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Scrum Master delivery experience.
• Additional 2+ years of Agile project experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to track delivery metrics and manage scope, schedule, and risks.

Preferred Skills:

• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with 3+ years of experience considered.
