Pay rate: $24/hr. w2 Job SummaryUnder the general direction of the Fate & Metabolism Lab Leader, the Drinking Water Laboratory Technician will support the development and testing of new agricultural products and new uses for existing products. The incumbent will execute laboratory methodologies to generate data supporting the registration and commercialization of new products, specifically focused on drinking water treatment testing. Primary Responsibilities

The incumbent will execute laboratory methodologies to generate data supporting the registration and commercialization of new products, specifically focused on drinking water treatment testing. Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, conducting, and reporting studies to support product registration for drinking water treatment testing.
- Perform laboratory testing and data generation as outlined by study directors for drinking water studies.
- Operate laboratory instrumentation, including balances, centrifuges, gas chromatographs (GC), high-performance liquid chromatographs (HPLC), mass spectrometers (MS), and water treatment instruments.
- Collaborate with instrument/equipment owners and the Lab Operations team to maintain optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
- Strictly adhere to all EH&S policies and testing protocols to ensure a safe laboratory environment.
- Comply with laboratory safety procedures, EPA Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain neat, accurate, and complete documentation of all laboratory activities and test results.
- Collaborate effectively with key teams within Agriscience, including Regulatory Science, Fate & Metabolism, Regulatory Analytical, and MSCOE, to ensure smooth project execution and data integrity.
- Bachelor's degree (BS) required; Master's degree (MS) acceptable - Chemistry degree preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of laboratory or analytical experience required.
- Experience in bench chemistry and familiarity with analytical instruments preferred.
- Working knowledge of GLP regulations, laboratory safety procedures, and computer-based data systems desirable.
