Project Manager
BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager in Markham/Toronto, ON.
Position Title: Project Manager
Location: Markham/Toronto, ON
Anticipated Start Date: 10th -March-2025

Expected Duration: 12 + months contract to permanent
Job Type: [FULL TIME (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY), [CONTRACT], [ONSITE]
Pay Range: $55/hr - $59.08/hr
NOTE: Candidate must be authorized to work in US without any sponsorship.

Job Description:
The Project Manager specializing in Critical Incident Management is responsible for overseeing the response to critical incidents that disrupt business operations.
This role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure swift resolution, minimizing impact, and maintaining business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Response Coordination: Lead the response to critical incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during incidents, providing regular updates and status reports.
Incident Analysis: Conduct thorough post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Process Improvement: Develop and refine incident management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of incident analysts and coordinators.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of incidents, responses, and outcomes for future reference and compliance purposes.
Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve incident response capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in incident management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CISSP are preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in incident management tools and software.
Key Objectives:
Ensure rapid and effective resolution of critical incidents.
Minimize the impact of incidents on business operations.
Continuously improve incident management processes and practices.
Foster a culture of resilience and preparedness within the organization.
