BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated BI Analyst remote opportunity.

Position Title: BI Analyst

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 1 Month (Potential chances for extension)

Pay Range: $50/hr to $55/hr on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Title: BI Analyst

Location: Remote (Must meet PST hours)

Duration: 1 Month (Potential chances for extension)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Write efficient Kusto queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large sets of data.
• Design and develop interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards that effectively communicate analytical findings.
• Ensure dashboards are intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to users with varying levels of data literacy.
• Continuously monitor and refine dashboards to maintain accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze data trends and patterns to provide insights and recommendations that drive business performance improvements.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality of output.

Candidate Requirements:

• Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field such as computer science, data analytics, statistics, or a related field is required to be eligible for this role.

Disqualifiers:

• Inability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Unable to Analyze data and find discrepancies and document insights.
• Lack of strong program management skills.
• No experience working with leadership and stakeholders.
• Poor communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Inability to work with advanced software tools like Word, PowerBI, ADO, KUSTO.
• Use of incorrect grammar or unprofessional communication.
• Unable to work core hours

Best vs. Average:

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis and dashboard development.
• Proficiency in writing Kusto queries and working with databases.
• Advanced skills in Power BI or similar data visualization tools for designing and developing dashboards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to relate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Performance Indicators:

• Performance will be assessed based on ability to work fast paced environment and quality of work.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

Minimum 8- 10 years' experience with PowerBI

Minimum 8- 10 years' experience with Kusto

Minimum 8- 10 years' experience with ADO
