Overview:
Clients Experience Operations (XO) team within Business Operations (GBO) is seeking a Search and Organic Social Media Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, impactful digital customer experiences. This position is central to driving business outcomes through search and organic social media strategies. As part of the XO team, you will work with partners across Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Government Affairs to execute digital campaigns that resonate with target audiences and support Genentech's mission to transform patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Lead the development and execution of integrated paid search and organic social media strategies to meet business objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google, Bing, and others.
  • Audience Targeting: Use advanced audience segmentation strategies to target and engage key personas and decision-makers in relevant markets.
  • Paid Search & Social Budget Management: Oversee campaign budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Content & Agency Management: Work closely with internal teams and external agency partners to ensure high-quality strategy, content, and execution aligned with the overall channel strategy.
  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Implement A/B testing to optimize ad creatives, messaging, and landing pages to improve campaign performance. Share insights and learnings across teams.
  • Analytics & Performance Tracking: Leverage analytics tools to monitor, evaluate, and optimize campaign performance, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Serve as a liaison with internal teams, marketing, and medical departments to gather insights, execute digital strategies, and improve performance measures.
  • Market Insights: Experiment with new capabilities and stay updated on emerging trends in paid search and organic social strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in digital media marketing, social media strategy, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital media marketing, including a proven track record in paid search and organic social media campaign management.
  • Expertise in social media platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Twitter, Meta Ads Manager), search engines (Google, Bing), and display networks (GDN).
  • Experience in using Social Media Management Systems (SMMS) such as Sprinklr, Khoros, or Sprout Social.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, analytics, and performance metrics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working within a pharma or biotech company or a highly regulated industry.
  • Certifications in social media marketing platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn Marketing Labs) and Google Ads.
  • Knowledge of GA4 (Google Analytics 4) for data analysis and performance measurement.
