Job Description

We are seeking an experienced full stack Application Architect III to join the Developer Experience team supporting the Horizon GitHub Copilot initiative at Bank of America. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in JavaScript, Python, and microservices and a proven ability to build developer tooling that improves productivity, quality, and compliance across complex environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver complex application features and developer tooling aligned to business objectives and controls.
• Create clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces and services that integrate with enterprise systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement unit tests and ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to IDE and build toolchain integrations to improve developer productivity and experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in JavaScript for full stack development and tooling integration.
• Hands-on Python experience for services, automation, and developer productivity solutions.
• Experience designing and deploying microservices with secure, testable interfaces.
• Deep understanding of IDEs and build toolchains within enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in developer experience platforms or enablement within large organizations.
• Familiarity with governance, risk reduction, and enterprise architecture alignment.
