UX/UI Developer 4
Bcforward is currently seeking a highly motivated UX/UI Developer 4 for an opportunity at Redmond, WA.
Position Title: UX/UI Developer 4
Location: Remote
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Contract
Pay Range $50- $56/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Summary:
The UX/UI Developer will partner with Our Studio to accelerate AI-assisted UX prototyping and internal UX tooling. The role focuses on translating agentic UX patterns into working prototypes, building reusable internal tools (including Figma plugins and lightweight UX agents), and contributing reusable assets to a shared internal Agentic UX Platform. This is a design enablement role supporting internal workflows and experimentation (not production software delivery).
Responsibilities:
- Partner with designers and researchers to rapidly prototype agentic and AI-powered UX flows (multi-turn, reasoning, fallbacks, orchestration) using Figma, Lovable, Copilot Studio, and lightweight internal sandboxes
- Build and iterate interactive prototypes suitable for research, demos, and engineering handoff
- Develop reusable internal UX tooling such as Figma plugins and lightweight UX automation scripts/agents (e.g., design critique helpers, pattern suggestions, flow scaffolding, weekly update summaries)
- Build, maintain, and help host a shared internal Agentic UX space that centralizes agentic UX patterns, reusable prototypes, and research insights for our studio consumption and reuse
- Contribute examples, patterns, and reusable assets to the shared Agentic UX Platform (documentation, prototypes, workflows)
- Document implementations and provide knowledge transfer to our studio to ensure reuse beyond the engagement
- Follow Our security and compliance requirements for internal tooling and data handling.
Skills:
- Strong experience in data-driven software design and development
- Experience building functional design prototypes and internal AI-powered tools
- Experience with AI-assisted workflows and/or LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI preferred)
- Experience collaborating with designers and researchers in fast iteration cycles
- Strong communication, problem solving, and documentation skills
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, HCI, or related field
- 8+ years' experience in UI/UX engineering or UI/UX development
- Bonus: Experience with Azure OpenAI, Figma plugin development, Copilot Studio, or AI-powered rapid prototyping tools
