Position Title: Gameplay Software EngineerLocation: Onsite - RemoteAnticipated Start Date: 07/24/2025Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 6 MonthsJob Type: Contract - [FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)]Pay Range: $65.00/hr-$70.00/hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description:
- Create sample TypeScript code to demonstrate NPC behaviors in Horizon Worlds
- Create both simple and complex examples that can be used both for creator samples and for AI training.
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- 3-5 years game development experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Ability to work independently with minimal outside supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible - able to adapt plans and react to change in a
- diverse, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
- A habit of writing super-clean, encaspsulated, testable, and well documented code.
- Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle, including requirements
- definition, specifications, development, test, product release, and sustaining engineering.
- Working knowledge of 3D math.
- Experience with version control and build systems.
