Job Description
We are seeking a IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in server administration, technical security management, performance management, and cross-technology incident resolution and a proven ability to design and deliver support solutions, lead complex engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced technical knowledge to operate one or more critical technology areas or customer groups.
- Integrate technical expertise and business understanding to create customer solutions.
- Resolve single- and cross-technology incidents independently and collaborate on unusually complex issues.
- Proactively and reactively implement problem prevention measures in assigned areas.
- Apply HP solutions to meet highly complex customer needs and identify service growth opportunities.
- Provide technical consulting during contract renewals and manage customer expectations during escalations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships up to senior management levels in assigned accounts.
- Design and deliver industry-specific support solutions and assist in delivery management.
- Lead cross-team or large programs and projects; act as a team or project leader as needed.
- Coach and guide junior consultants and promote operational efficiencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of HP products and services, competitive offerings, and market trends.
- Expert-level business, technical, or functional knowledge with strong consulting capability.
- Strong communication with diplomacy up to senior management; active listening and audience-aware messaging.
- Proactive, reactive, and creative problem-solving skills; ability to operate independently within policies and practices.
- Core technical competencies with depth in selected areas; intermediate project management, analysis, and presentation skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree in a technical field with 5-7 years of related experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience leading escalations, programs, or large cross-functional initiatives.
- Background in industry-specific support solution design and delivery.
