BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Program Manager II for a REMOTE opportunity.

Position Title: Program Manager II

Location: REMOTE

Anticipated Start Date: 02/10/2025

Expected Duration: 12 Months

Job Type: Contract - [FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)]

Pay Range: $55.75/hr-$65.22/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Support the submission processes and requirements for all third party platforms.

Own release processes for approved code through development, test, and production environments including generating builds for each platform, submitting QA requests, and go-live activities.

Plan and facilitate the release schedule considering the complex interrelationship of client apps and services.

Communicate all key project plans, release dependencies, commitments, and changes including requirements to stakeholders.

Manage risks that may affect release scope, schedule and quality.

Issue weekly release reporting and communicate key Release Status milestones to stakeholders.

Partner with stakeholders in Engineering, Project, Product and QA teams to iteratively refine and improve the release lifecycle process in a data-driven, solutions-oriented manner

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

3+ years of previous release management experience

Deep understanding of software QA tools and best practices

Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle

Solid understanding of project management principles

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a mix of business and technical colleagues

Must-Have Skills:

1 Release management experience

2 Understanding of SDLC

3 Understanding of Basic Testing Concepts

4 Jira

Nice-to-have Skills :

1 Engineering Skills

2 Gaming Experience

3 Exp in some bug tools
