Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Advisor, Cloud Engineer with primary expertise in AWS and Amazon Connect to join our team. The candidate will design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions, including infrastructure, applications, and service management. The role will define standards, create specifications, and deliver integrated solutions that align with business strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to define specifications for cloud products, services, and solutions.
• Provide guidance in solution architecture and ensure alignment with business strategy.
• Design, install, and configure cloud solutions, platforms, and integrations with emphasis on AWS and Amazon Connect.
• Create and refine blueprints, deployment policies, and standards based on stakeholder approvals.
• Develop automated deployment capabilities, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code for repeatable delivery.
• Implement automated functional and integration testing using approved tools and frameworks.
• Troubleshoot complex solution issues across applications, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and work guidance to less experienced team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, or equivalent education and experience.
• 9+ years in cloud, solutions, or applications engineering with enterprise-scale implementations.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services and Amazon Connect, including design, deployment, and operations.
• Experience architecting, documenting, building, and troubleshooting complex solutions and integrations.
• Hands-on skills with programming and scripting, operating systems, and product-line hardware and software.
• Background with enterprise tooling and monitoring such as vCenter Operations, EMC Virtual Storage Integrator, Zenoss, and Spectrum.
• Knowledge of network protocols and platforms such as DNS, and enterprise applications including BMC and Oracle.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with customer or vendor mandated technologies such as Catalyst.
• Automation experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and test automation.

Work Details:

• Hybrid schedule. Onsite two days per week with Wednesday required.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Business casual dress code. Client interface required. No overtime required.
• Office environment. May require shift or weekend work. Willingness to travel.
