BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Architect for an opportunity in New York, NY!

Position Title: Application Architect

Location: New York, NY

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 months with potential to long term

Job Type: [Contract >%3D40 HRS WEEKLY], [ON-SITE]

Pay Range: [$70/hr] - [$77/hr]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:

• The resource would be responsible for supporting multiple high risk Non Financial Regulatory Reports (NFRR) including Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) and Electronic Blue Sheets (EBS), as well as supporting one of the largest data warehouses within Global Markets.
• This role directly supports critical use cases including regulatory reporting, responding to inquiries, and replay / repair functions.
• The role requires strong development and design skills along with database specific expertise, including data modeling and performance tuning.

Skillset needed:

• Extensive experience working with Oracle Exadata DB
• Strong programming background in Core Java or Python
• Strong scripting knowledge
• Database maintenance expertise
• Data modeling
• Development of complex DB queries
• Performance tuning knowledge
