BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Marketing Specialist remote opportunity.

Pay Range: $20/hr to $22/hr on W2
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Candidate Requirements:
* Years of Experience Required: 2-4+ years of overall experience in the field.
* Degrees or certifications required: None
* Disqualifiers: They need to have at minimum 1-year paid experience in a marketing role; The sponsor is not looking for someone who only has school experience.
* Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain:
o Formal college level education preferred but not required
o Minimum one year of paid working experience in marketing is required
o Workflow Management Expertise
o Strong written and verbal communication skills, experienced in executive summaries
* Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines.

Partner Funding Request for Workflow Management:
* Understand and apply program rules.
* Coordinate the workflow, evaluate partner funding request plans, and provide feedback to improve marketing plan quality.

Stakeholder Management:
* Establish and maintain relationships with approximately 20 stakeholders across internal and external partner teams.
* Schedule and conduct internal and external tracking and update calls with stakeholders.

Marketing Support, Project Tracking and Reporting:
* Manage project milestones and proactive resolve issues.
* Communicate status updates as appropriate across workstreams and activities.
* Provide ad hoc support for market activities as needed including reporting and analysis.
* Research and provide solutions including refining playbook documentation as appropriate.

Event Planning:
* Build and maintain worldwide marketing event calendars.
* Plan for overall event sponsorship

Event Orchestration and Management:
* Create and own planning ROB prior to all events, and own execution of the workback schedules.
* Logistics management support for all partner events.
* Preliminary work to lay the groundwork for the HP HBCU Tech Conference with its 3rd year focused on students, faculty and administration, IT, and Senior Leadership.
* Track action items including working with creative logo approvals, briefing schedules, and all items leading up to the event.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:
1. Minimum 2+ years' experience with excel.
2. Minimum 2+years' experience with project management.
3. Minimum 2+ years' experience with Knowledge/Strong understanding of digital marking concepts such as marketing funnels and advertising.
