Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cross-functional program delivery, hardware design lifecycles, vendor coordination, and enterprise-scale project governance and a proven ability to plan and deliver complex multi-project initiatives on scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver programs within defined scope, quality, schedule, and budget while managing moderate risks.
- Lead cross-functional, multi-project initiatives across engineering, operations, and vendor teams.
- Oversee phases from design through ok to Fabrication, including work with flexes, bridge boards, and hardware design processes.
- Ensure effective implementation planning and tracking in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Provide program-level strategic planning and partner with executive leadership for direction and status.
- Manage and influence employees, matrixed teams, and contractors to deliver high-quality systems.
- Foster collaboration, uphold accountability, and drive issue resolution.
- Engage vendors and align expectations, schedules, and deliverables.
- Lead scope definition, requirements, documentation, and estimation.
- Develop and maintain schedules, status reports, and communication plans across levels.
- Oversee budgets, resources, contingency planning, and risk mitigation.
- Drive use of program-level issue and risk management tools.
- Manage creation and maintenance of field matrices across multiple configurations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in program and project management with vendor coordination.
- Experience with flexes, bridge boards, and Fabrication lifecycle.
- Background in program issue and bug tracking and risk management frameworks.
- Proven ability to create and maintain field matrices with multiple configurations.
- Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and tracking within large organizations.
- People management and team-building skills with matrixed teams and contractors.
- Ability to adapt and exercise judgment in changing environments with competing priorities.
- Aptitude for understanding business processes and collaborating across levels.
- Capability in risk assessment and application of technology management principles.
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in multi-platform systems.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Preferred Skills:
- Additional experience developing field matrices with broad configuration options.
