Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Perfecto-based mobile test automation, Java, Appium, Selenium/TestNG, and mobile automation frameworks and a proven ability to design, build, and scale automated testing solutions, enable developers with Copilot and prompt engineering, and drive end-to-end quality.
Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize product requirements to enable developers to use Copilot and prompt engineering effectively.
- Perform end-to-end testing to validate functionality, identify defects, and ensure high-quality mobile releases.
- Lead design and development of mobile test automation frameworks and tools to enhance developer productivity.
- Partner with data engineers, data scientists, UI/UX designers, app developers, product owners, and clients to deliver solutions.
- Coordinate project plans and stakeholder engagement across technology, sales, client education, finance, and legal.
- Identify risks and dependencies, quantify impacts, and recommend controls to resolve issues.
- Apply innovative approaches to uncover issues early in the development lifecycle.
- Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features.
- Participate in code reviews and drive standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvements.
- Coach and mentor team members, advance Agile delivery practices, and support career development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Primary skill: Perfecto for mobile automation, performance, and monitoring.
- Secondary skill: Selenium with TestNG.
- 10+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years with AI tools such as Copilot and prompt engineering.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong UI automation and application framework enhancements using Java and Appium.
- Mobile test automation with Appium is required.
- Subject matter expertise in mobile applications and frameworks, including product technical details and underlying data.
- Experience with one or more mobile automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
- Hands-on experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or with open-source tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with continuous integration and unit testing practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment with strong troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Details & Process Notes:
- Hybrid schedule. Minimum three days onsite per week. Onsite from day one.
- Target start: May.
- Interview process: 1-2 rounds with final round in person.
- Approved location: Charlotte, NC.
- Glider ID verification required.
