Technician: Manufacturing - I (Day)

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Technician - Day for an opportunity in Hillsboro, OR!

Position Title: Manufacturing Technician - I

Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 6+ months with possible extension

Job Type: FULL TIME 40 hours a week, FULLTIME, ONSITE

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday

Pay Range: [$18.60/hr] - [$19.88/hr]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

The manufacturing technician may perform a variety of tasks, which provide support for the warehouse and production line. These tasks can vary day to day, depending on the operations' needs and current workload/assignments.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Work order preparation:

• Inventory demand analysis, inventory assignment, and building documentation analysis
• Work with material specialists to assign inventory requirements for on-time order deliveries for production.
• Working with build Planners and Product Engineers on issues surrounding material demand setup, material shortages, and build documentation review.

The Materials Technician supports the Production Operation and the Materials Management groups by:

• Moving materials into and out of the Inventory storage areas.
• Performing cycle counts to ensure system and physical inventories match.
• Establish new processes and improve existing processes.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills/traits:

• Disciplined and self-motivated

Education:

HS diploma or GED equivalent required.
